Every 4 years Brazil gets dressed in green & yellow for the World Cup. Football (or soccer, as Americans say) is not just a sport here: it's a passion, it's part of national identity, it's almost a matter of life and death.

When the battle, oops, the Cup is over we will be either the World Champions, the best and proudest country in the known universe, or the most disgraced losers. There is no in between.
